유엔해양법협약 제116조(공해어업권)
이 조문은 유엔해양법협약(UNCLOS) 제7부 공해에 속합니다. 대한민국은 1996년 1월 29일 UNCLOS를 비준했습니다.
모든 국가는 다음의 규정을 지킬 것을 조건으로 자국민이 공해에서 어업에 종사하도록 할 권리를 가진다.
(a) 자국의 조약상의 의무
(b) 특히 제63조 제2항과 제64조부터 제67조까지의 규정된 연안국의 권리, 의무 및 이익

All States have the right for their nationals to engage in fishing on the high seas subject to:
(a) their treaty obligations;
(b) the rights and duties as well as the interests of coastal States provided for, inter alia, in article 63, paragraph 2, and articles 64 to 67; and
(c) the provisions of this section.
