유엔해양법협약 제58조(배타적경제수역에서의 다른 국가의 권리와 의무)

1. 연안국이거나 내륙국이거나 관계없이, 모든 국가는, 이 협약의 관련규정에 따를 것을 조건으로, 배타적경제수역에서 제87조에 규정된 항행·상공비행의 자유, 해저전선·관선부설의 자유 및 선박·항공기·해저전선·관선의 운용 둥과 같이 이러한 자유와 관련되는 것으로서 이 협약의 다른 규정과 양립하는 그 밖의 국제적으로 적법한 해양 이용의 자유를 향유한다.
2. 제88조부터 제115조까지의 규정과 그 밖의 국제법의 적절한 규칙은 이 부에 배치되지 아니하는 한 배타적경제수역에 적용된다.
3. 이 협약상 배타적경제수역에서 권리행사와 의무를 이행함에 있어서, 각국은 연안국의 권리와 의무를 적절하게 고려하고, 이 부의 규정과 배치되지 아니하는 한 이 협약의 규정과 그 밖의 국제법규칙에 따라 연안국이 채택한 법령을 준수한다.

1. In the exclusive economic zone, all States, whether coastal or land-locked, enjoy, subject to the relevant provisions of this Convention, the freedoms referred to in article 87 of navigation and overflight and of the laying of submarine cables and pipelines, and other internationally lawful uses of the sea related to these freedoms, such as those associated with the operation of ships, aircraft and submarine cables and pipelines, and compatible with the other provisions of this Convention.

2. Articles 88 to 115 and other pertinent rules of international law apply to the exclusive economic zone in so far as they are not incompatible with this Part.

3. In exercising their rights and performing their duties under this Convention in the exclusive economic zone, States shall have due regard to the rights and duties of the coastal State and shall comply with the laws and regulations adopted by the coastal State in accordance with the provisions of this Convention and other rules of international law in so far as they are not incompatible with this Part.
