유엔해양법협약 제123조(폐쇄해·반폐쇄해 연안국간 협력)

폐쇄해 또는 반폐쇄해 연안국은 이 협약에 따른 권리행사와 의무이행에 있어서 서로 협력한다. 이러한 목적을 위하여 이들 국가는 직접적으로 또는 적절한 지역기구를 통하여 다음을 위하여 노력한다.
(a) 해양생물자원의 관리·보존·탐사 및 이용 조정
(b) 해양환경보호·보전에 관한 권리의무 이행의 조정
(c) 과학조사정책의 조정 및 적절한 경우 해역에서의 공동과학조사계획의 실시
(d) 이 조의 규정을 시행함에 있어서 적절한 경우 서로 협력하기 위한 다른 이해 관계국이나 국제기구의 초청

States bordering an enclosed or semi-enclosed sea should cooperate with each other in the exercise of their rights and in the performance of their duties under this Convention. To this end they shall endeavour, directly or through an appropriate regional organization:

(a) to coordinate the management, conservation, exploration and exploitation of the living resources of the sea;

(b) to coordinate the implementation of their rights and duties with respect to the protection and preservation of the marine environment;

(c) to coordinate their scientific research policies and undertake where appropriate joint programmes of scientific research in the area;

(d) to invite, as appropriate, other interested States or international organizations to cooperate with them in furtherance of the provisions of this article.
